Scope and findings
The article presents a test network model developed in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and analyzes four operating scenarios. The results show that coordinated control of renewable energy sources and energy storage systems, accounting for distribution grid operating conditions, can increase the use of locally generated renewable energy and prevent overloading of the transformer at the HV/MV substation.
The article builds on a presentation given by Michał Połecki at the SEBOR’26 – Power System: Operational and Market Security conference. Kamil Przygoda and Marcin Szewczyk also attended the event.
