KLASTER+

Team

The KLASTER+ project is carried out by a seven-member team from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology, bringing together expertise in power systems, electrical apparatus and switchgear, microgrids, automation and control, research infrastructure, and the implementation of advanced functions in field controllers.

Tadeusz Daszczyński

Tadeusz Daszczyński, PhD Eng.

KLASTER+ Project Manager

Responsible for the strategic and technical management of the project, integration of project outcomes, cooperation with partners, preparation for implementation, and dissemination of results. He also defines directions for the further development of KLASTER+ technologies and the project team.

Marcin Szewczyk

Marcin Szewczyk, DSc Eng.

Responsible for integrating the research and implementation workstreams, translating the results of analyses and modelling into functional and technical requirements for the field controller, and supporting the Project Manager and the team in technical and strategic decision-making.

Kamil Przygoda

Kamil Przygoda, MSc Eng.

Responsible for developing the field controller as an edge-computing platform, implementing KLASTER+ algorithms and functions, integrating measurement and communication interfaces, and commissioning and verifying the solution in a power-system automation environment.

Robert Wójtowicz

Robert Wójtowicz, PhD Eng.

Responsible for the architecture and development of the research infrastructure, integration of IT and OT environments, data exchange between controllers, SCADA/HMI systems, and computing infrastructure, and responsible for communication, time synchronisation, cybersecurity, and network segmentation.

Łukasz Rokicki

Łukasz Rokicki, PhD Eng.

Responsible for acquiring, preparing, and analysing data for reference objects, including data on power networks, renewable energy sources, loads, energy storage systems, and control systems. He also prepares input data for modelling and analyses of microgrid–DSO interaction.

Michał Połecki

Michał Połecki, MSc Eng.

Responsible for power-network and microgrid modelling, development and assessment of algorithms for microgrid–DSO interaction, and analysis of their performance under operating conditions, data-transmission disturbances, and increased microgrid operating flexibility.

Szymon Stoczko

Szymon Stoczko, PhD Eng.

Responsible for the solution architecture, implementation of control and communication functions in the field controller, and its commissioning and verification, including tests of the physical controller operating with a microgrid model in a Hardware-in-the-Loop environment.
